Cheshire East Council met on the 22nd February and voted on their budget. The budget was supported by Labour and all the Independent Councillors in the Independent 'Group'; which includes all the 'Residents of Wilmslow' Councillors.

That budget included all the 'savings' from the cuts to Library hours (and those from charging for green bin collection). Whether they now want to admit it, or not, they supported the cuts to Library hours despite it's importance to some of our most vulnerable residents.

We are committing to reversing the cuts, should our Cheshire East candidates be elected as part of a Conservative majority on the 4th May.
